long story short, the selector detent spring has left the building. Where can I order one without paying way too much for shipping?
I tried searching & all the recommended sites are either defunct or out of stock. $4 shipped seems to be the cheapest I could find... help me out here. http://i.imgur.com/RQy0pPs.jpg (pic for views) |

http://www.thecitizensarmory.com normally their shipping is the cost of a stamp for very small parts. |

| I think I bought 10 from JSE surplus a couple years ago. They're the same spring as the ejector spring. Had a friends ejector spring break at the range one day and he couldn't qualify. They didn't have a spring available to fix it either. Sucks that a .10 spring deadliined the rifle. Decided to bring some of my own spares after that. |

Pm me your address, I'll mail one in a regular envelope on Monday. I think I've got 5 or 6 spares already. this site is great, but at the same time some random stranger could be on their way to empty my beer fridge. no risk, no reward. |

I am in Newark, De. If you want to waste some gas, I will give you one.
A little edit is due. I thought I had an extra, but as I was putting together a lower this morning, I discovered I didn't have a correct extra spring. I realized I put it in another lower I was working on a while back, that had wrong springs in wrong places. It is unknown to me who F-ed it up, but it left me a spring short in my spares. I do have one that will work, it just makes the selector a bit easier to turn. Looks like its time to replenish my supply of spare parts. Sorry. |
