I'm an AR15 Newbie.  I'm pretty experienced with many other arms (rifles and handguns, and I'm a hand loader for at least 10 calibers)), but I know precious little about ARs and AR things.

So . . . hoping that the above disclaimer will provide me cover for asking a question which probably has been asked many times before: how durable are the magazine springs of Magpul, Stoner  and Lancer mags.

Specifically — I have 20 round Lancer and Magpul mags, a 30 round Magpul mag, and soon will have two 30 round Stoner mags.

How long can each of these be kept fully loaded before it becomes unreliable (as in it fails to feed . . . I would assume because of a weakened spring).

Cycling the spring is what wears it out. The magazine could be left loaded indefinitely. The feed lips are more likely to spread apart before the spring fails.
