If you're talking about the trigger spring pack then it can.  The harder primers can have trouble being set-off from the lighter spring weight.

My set had some issues with light primer hits on Milsurp ammo. Commercial was alright.  The trigger was definitly lighter which was nice. I think its a good quick fix but I am now spoiled with 2stages.

I bought one a couple of years ago from Brownells then sold as a "Yellow Tavern" spring kit.

Not sure if it is the same one, but it may be.

I just installed the trigger and disconnector spring, but left the hammer spring stock.  I'm not sure if that ultimately helped lighten the pull, but I wimped out on the hammer spring as I wanted to avoid light strikes.
