I cant find any real information on these even on reddit. Rearden seems to be a very popular company with suppressor mounts - and they have a made in USA optic mount that I guess never sold well? It seems to be very light and uses reptilia accessories. First mentions of them are from 2024 so its been a few years. Has anyone used these on a scope/LPVO? thoughts? |

Yes, I am currently using a 1.74" Argos for my Delta Stryker HD 1-6x. It replaced a Reptilia AUS 1.54." The Rearden uses a couple strange offset recoil lugs rather than a singular "full" lug like the Reptilia. The Rearden hardware is also much simpler in that the bolts screw directly into the aluminum "bar" on the opposite side of the bolt heads. The ring caps didn't align absolutely perfectly relative to the mount, but I'm probably the only one who would notice. I don't know if any of this makes any real difference, but things I noticed before mounting. I have no real complaints and see no reason to shy away. The machining is simpler as well, which some may aesthetically prefer. Overall, functionally it has done its job as needed and I prefer the 1.74" height. I do have some relatively minor neck issues and "scrunching" into the 1.54" height quickly just isn't as natural, quick, or consistent for me. |
