I have a BM carry handle off of my 16" A3 carbine and was considering building up a 20" AR.  The upper I am considering, a flat top CMT/Stag Arms has an F marked front sight base.  Am I going to be able to sight this in or is it kind of a crapshoot?  I know this topic can get confusing sometimes.  Thanks.

You may have to lower the front sight post a bit if the carry handle is a little shorter than "mil-spec" heights.

It should be good to go.

The M16A4's (the M16 flattop in use my the Marines) use F-FSB's for use with the detachable carry handles, so your Bravo Co upper should be good.

Yeah, if anything, this is what I was thinking I would have to do.  On my BM A3 carbine I got lucky when I stuck an ARMS #40L on it by not having to buy the taller FSP.  This is just the opposite situation.  Thanks.
