Hey guys, I've got a few questions about a new build I'm working on. I'm trying to do this as inexpensively as possibly, but I still want good parts. I know, I'm asking too much.

I bought one of the Wilson 15.4" barrels. I also got a new flat top  upper, and a used YHM rifle length rail coming. I know I'll have to buy a lo profile gas block and weld on a Phantom to make it legal.

I'm trying to find a A1 fixed stock. I can't find any for sale. Does anybody know where I can get one?
Also, I know a lower is a lower, so I'm just going to pick up what ever is cheaper. What about the bolt and carrier? Do they affect accuracy much? In other words, is a 130 one as good as a 200 dollar one?
Any recommendation on optics? I'm using this gun as a 200-400 yard coyote and groundhog gun, plus for informal target shooting.

Thanks,
Kevin

Taggin this to see the finished product as I'm going the same route with the same 15.4 barrel.

Any reasons you are goin rifle length rail?  Do you know what the diameter of gas block we need?

I'm going with a rifle length mainly because I found one used on the EE. I like the look of a long forearm and not much barrel, so it works out.

Pretty much any of the smaller gas blocks will fit under the YHM. I've cut down front sights, and they fit fine, and I've bought gas blocks that fit fine. I'm going to get most of the rest of the components towards the end of the month, I'll let you know what I end up getting.
Edit- if you meant inner diameter, the barrels we bought have a .750 diameter at the gas block.
