I'm sure you'll get about as many opinions as there are builders on this site. I've used virtually every major manufacturer's lower parts kit (including Colt and Daniel Defense). I've seen one user or another trash the way a trigger felt or how a roll pin went in on each of these kits (DPMS doesn't make the easiest roll pin to install). I've had decent and poor triggers from each manufacturer. I've also had some type of problem at one time or another with every manufacturer with the exception of DD (I've only used their kit one time) including Colt. That said, all of these problems were fairly simple to resolve. I've never had to return a kit after building dozens of rifles.

I had a number of people steer me towards Stag's kit a while back. I got a couple of these with bad disconnectors (poorly stamped/machined), because of these two kits, Stag became my least favorite LPK. I know the problem I experienced isn't typical for Stag. What I learned from this is that I wouldn't spend significant extra dollars to have either an RRA or Stag kit over a DPMS. That doesn't mean I wouldn't use them, I would. I just haven't found additional value that justified significant extra expense. Chances are pretty good that you would not have serious issues with any of the 3 I've mentioned. I have a couple of spare kits sitting around. They are DPMS. Find a name brand kit with a good price and buy it, be happy.
