I'm thinking about having a Phantom or Vortex installed. How does Pin/weld or Threading the barrel effect accuracy? Which is better Pin/weld- threading as far as accuracy?

You have to do both on a 14.5 and only thread on a 16"

My barrel is 16 inches so I could do either but which is better as far as accuracy?

You have to thread the barrel no matter what you do. They cannot be easily pressed on, and it would not be stable. Therefore thread would be the way to go, if yo uhave a 16". 14.5"requires pin also

You might not have any desire for a supressor now, but in the future............ Get the muzzle threaded and be able to exp the total AR flash hider expierence.
