hey hey hey ! been a while ,
so i bought this http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/21685/s/psa-10-5-5-56-lightweight-keymod-9-freedom-upper/category/4220/ and i really wanted that with a 300 blk barrel so i bought this as well http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/300bo-pl-10-5-1-8-n-h-m.html who can see where im going with that ? give that man a cookie ! what are the odds the flash hiders permanently attached ? I really REALLY do not want to have to cut a tacked flash tip thingie off , correct me later i forgot what it was called , you dont get a cookie I have a spare upper stripped blem from psa but thats its no nut or tube or gas block or free float , so am i gonna have to cut it ? or will i be lucky and just get to strip it and swap barrels or do i need to just order the rest of the parts to finish the other upper ? |

I don't have a PSA 10.5in upper but my 16in PSA upper has just a crush washer on it for the muzzle device. You should be good to go on swapping barrels. All you will need is a pistol length gas tube. And a flash hider or other muzzle device. Good catch, he will need a 30 cal muzzle device and maybe another gas block. Not sure if both Barrels will accept the same size gas block. I did not see where PSA listed the gas block size on the barreled upper. . |

Ow dang , that i did not know , i was planning on keeping it in the safe until tax stamp, then i was going to look for a ratchet on break,
something like the YHM can system uses maybe. But the gas block issue i was totally unaware of that I though i could use the same low profile one from the 556. I will start reading and google'ing and worst case ill order one. nothing but time until its time to shoot some hogs |

They should both use a .750 gas block so I'm sure you'll be fine. Now the gas tube on the other hand you'll probably need a pistol length for the 300BLK. I just read the PSA description and the barreled upper does use a .750 gas block. All you will need is a pistol gas tube and a muzzle device. |

So i wont be able to use the gas tube from the PSA upper ? i thought it was a pistol built 556 upper ? i believe I am cheating my
way into a 300 blk the cheap way , upper was 249 shipped for the 556 and barrel was 98 shipped , 350$ and I get a 300 blk upper with keymod rail! |
