Yes, the Gen2 PSA upper fit my Bushmaster/DPMS pattern lower perfect. The only thing I had to do was chamfer the back edge of the bolt carrier release some so it would depress enough to release the bolt, since the relief on the PSA upper is smaller.

Update!
The Bushmaster/PSA combination turned out to be very magazine sensitive. None of my LaRue, Israeli, or D&H with the orange anti tilt follower would hardly function. Fit wasn't very good either. Fist gen. P Mags worked fine with third gen. being iffy. I've since bought a PSA lower that 1 example of each of the above magazines fit and functioned 100% through 200 rounds yesterday. I plan on putting another 100 rounds through it tomorrow using only my D&H 20 rounders and see what happens. |

Gen-1 or Gen-2 DPMS lower?
I'm puzzling this out as I go, I was hoping to find enough info that would let me use/swap the Gibbz side-charger upper into the PA-10 they're selling now, (I have 2, one with the rail as a complete weapon, one with the plastic handguards bought as an upper/lower). I'd rather avoid being the mook who buys the Gibbz G-10 upper/lower and swaps everything over just to do it, and finding I have to replace 87% of everything to make it work with the PSA flashhider and nothing else. I'm still working on finding out whether the G-10 uses a proprietary hand guard nut, or not. It'd be sweet to be able to use a 'normal' AR rail, but I'm thinking the low-rail height means DPMS proprietary. otoh, Gibbz Arms is offering a 10% off coupon on their site right now.
