I have 5-6 Orginal 30 round Teflon Labelle Ind Mags In near perfect shape
On floor plate reads Labelle Ind Oconomowoc, WI, USA Mfg 90435 1. are these considered pre ban mags? 2. What are they worth today? The reason I ask is cause I noticed when I head to the range i always end up using just my P-Mags The Labelle's function is flawless and very easy to drop from the mag well... Im thinking about selling on the boards to get some more p mags and not sure what they would be worth... |

Here's what google came up with.
G.I. contract 30 round. Black plastic followers. Teflon finish. This is the latest military specification, which started only in June, 1994). Functionally, these are the best of the breed, because they have a slick, durable Teflon coat inside and out. Very few of these magazines made it onto the civilian market before the ban started on Sept. 13, 1994. All were made by Labelle Industries. They made batches for the civilian market in both grey and black Teflon. Most of these were marked: Cal. 5.56mm, a part number, and Made in U.S.A. (Note that Bushmaster/Quality Parts had Labelle make up a batch for them with BFI floorplates. Labelle did the same for Defense Procurement Management Service (DPMS). Military production pre-Sept 13, 1994 are not date stamped.

So I take it these are pretty Rare mags?
When I bought them, I knew there was a short production run on these. I do remeber that they do have the Teflon inside in out, thats what I was told... So any idea what they may be worth? i cant find them for sale any where.... I dont collect mags so the fact that they are rare dosent mean much to me, i just want mags I can always use and not be afraid to beat them up. I never abused these mags for that reason.... |

In "used/very good" condition, $15 is a fair price for a quick sale on the EE. If you wanted to play with Gunbroker, you could start them at $20 and see what happens.
