Damn, not sure how I missed this thread! I love the shorty's with the magnified optics, great job guys.
I've got a 10.5" build going now that I ordered a cheap AR223 scope for, from PSA, until I can get better glass. Guess I need to get on it and get it to the cerakote man so I can get it put together. Didn't even realize I was building a mini-Recce, been wanting to put a scope on an SBR for a while. Keep up the good work gents! |

I ask because some people end up dropping a good hundred plus just between shipping and shop work to have a muzzle device pinned...all while the SBR stamp would have just ran them a tad bit more at $200. |

I realize I'm not saving much if any when you figure the BE Meyers will most likely be written off if I ever do swap to an Ops Inc brake. I just figured I wouldn't want to shoot it much without the can if I did set it up as a "short holland" and that is where most of the time and money would be tie-up; plus I don't have to buy another PRI tube just yet. A while back I wanted to build a 13.7" with pinned BE Meyers and a KAC FF RAS Mid. Basically a shorter version of this:
