I am in no way criticizing the ops use of the thing. I am quite aware that people shoot there firearms differently in terms of what works for them. If the LT stop works that way for the op and helps him utilize the "stopping" function of the handstop better by positioning it that way; by all means have at it. I just cant picture a hand up against the backside of the LT stop helping much in the "stopping" function of it. I posted the picture of the MP5k to show that I use it as a hand stop, and not as a control device like the LaRue picture you posted. Based on your comment that you can't picture it being good at being a hand stop, I assume you've not handled one or seen one in person. I can tell you it does a pretty decent job despite the "curved" look you see in the pictures. It doubles as a good index point when using the "thumb break" grip as well. But what do I know, it appears you've done your research and since you're so adamant about making sure I know how hand stops work and that mine is backwards, then you win. I submit, my hand stop is backwards 
lol. Your right, I haven't used one, I'm an AFG guy. But if you say it works for you, then it works for you. I meant no harm by the way, just curious about what I saw. |

My Colt 6920 purchased last May. I'd posted pictures of it pretty much factory stock. Well after about 5 months and several hundred dollars worth of upgrades and accessories, I give you updated pictures!  Now has: KAC Quad Rails w/ Rail Covers Aimpoint Comp M2 w/ ARMS #21 M68 Mount BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 Charging Handle Magpul VLTOR Basic Stock Troy Ind. BUIS Vickers Blue Force 2 pt Tactical Sling Surefire M600C Weapons Light w/ SR-07 Rail Mounted Switch & Offset Mount adapter Magpul AFG2 It's about as complete as I'd like it for now, but I'm still considering other options. Not too sure if I'll go for an M-203 or not, but I'll likely decide later. Still hoping for a chance to get some range time here soon. I still need to zero in the BUIS. But hopefully I'll swing it soon. These are cell phone pic,s so I apologize for the quality. |

I recently pieced this together to use for prairie dogs, coyotes, etc. I didn't exactly use top shelf parts, but it shoots reasonably well. We were doing a little turtle sniping in the pic...head shots only. The only thing on the rifle worth talking about is the scope mount. It's made by DNZ (or Dead Nutz). I got it from Midway for about 80 bucks and I couldn't find much info. about it before I bought it. It's very well made and machined nicely with no sharp edges. If you don't need QD, look into these mounts.
