It does feel better than it looks though, I will admit to that. But I'll be replacing it with a Magpul STR, that'll give me the battery storage I need. The grip feels pretty good to me. I think I'll end up keeping it. I just slapped on the BUIS today, so I'll take it to the range soon to zero it in. It's my first DD and I'm thrilled with it! Dare I say it? I dare. Mine's longer.

Niiiiice. I have an SSA-E as well, but I haven't put it in yet. Hopefully it's pretty easy.

I knew I was coming up on this one...got the email from Silencershop this morning and made my way there when they opened. Congrats to all of the other people there this morning picking up their toys as well.
And finally this build long in the making is officially complete... DDMK18 with: - BAD-ASS Ambi-Safety - Geissele SSA - Magpul CTR Stock - Troy Industries Modular Vertical Grip with QD Screw - Surefire X300U with Tapeswitch (I actually will probably be swapping this out for a scout series with comparable lumens) - BCM Gunfighter grip - Raptor Ambi Charging Handle - Aimpoint T1 2MOA in Larue 660QD mount and Knight's Armament battery cap - Magpul MBUS Gen II Back up Sights - Magpul MS3 Sling on Damage Industries QD D-ring - Advanced Armament Mini4 suppressor 
Now I can finish building my 11.5" BCM that will be identical except it will be running a laser. |

Would love to have a MK 18 sometime. But with very few places to shoot, I just can't justify one right now.
