Finally finished a build - Palmetto lower, Aero upper, was wondering if the gap and the alignment in the pictures were normal? Also, the charging handle rubs the top of the stock (acs-l) when pulled back, anyone run into that?

May not look the best, but OK.

As for the charging handle dragging, it might barely hit the forward edge of the stock a little w/o causing a problem.

The handle part of the charging handle rubs the very top of the stock when fully extended. It sin't gouging, but it's definitely more than barely.

All of my charging handles rub on the top of the reciever when extending.  Here are pictures from 2 rifles where you can see the wear marks from the CH.

Funny enough my charging hammer isn't hitting the receiver; it's hitting the top of the actual plastic part of the stock.
