I was just cleaning my AR15, and as I was running a bore patch through it, it became lodged in. Now, I can't get it out! Can anyone give some advice on what I can do?

Dribble some solvent/lube down the barrel from the muzzle.
Place Muzzle up and let sit for 15 Min.

Try again to push the patch out from the Breech forward.

Anchor the upper in a padded jaw vice.

This helps immensely.

Mind the flexing of the rod.

Thanks, I tried to put some gun oil down the bore, but it still didn't budge. It is about an inch into the barrel on the bottom side. I guess I need to find someone with a vice. Thanks for the advice.

Did you try to force a .30 cal patch in there, or double up on the .22 patches?

Unscrew the rod from the patch jag, close up the rifle, put it on the ground butt first, and try whapping it out with an old rod, dowel, or other long object from the muzzle end. You can get an aluminum rod from a hardware store that just barely fits into the bore. Centerpunch one end of the rod and dimple the exact center with a drill bit. That will keep the end centered on the tip of the jag, and that should work without scratching up your bore. One nice firm whack should get it out.
