Was going through a box of old LE stuff I’ve had for years and found a bag with what looks like some old weapon light parts. I know there is a barrel mount and a weaver 1inch ring that’s missing the screw. There is an older surefire bezel and an unknown surefire light body. Anyone know what the light body is for? Attached File That is an old Surefire 6R rechargeable light. That was my first issued light in 1998 and it was terrible. Battery lasted about 15 minutes if you were lucky. Everyone took the extension out and just used two CR123 batteries. Mine was marked Laser Products (which I later learned was Surefire). I still have it and it’s been upgraded with a Malkof bulb and some other components. No info on the mount. |

Not really what you’re asking, but the barrel mount appears to be an M16. They have the recesses on the mount to fit within the FSB. The M14 looks similar, but won’t fit inside the FSB and would have to clamp around the barrel in front of the FSB. The M16 mounts are pretty rare and desirable. M16:  M14:
