As of 08/22/2025 at 2200 hours, EVERYTHING I list in the EE will include a timestamp pic with my username, the date and time the pic was taken. Do not buy anything from my account without the timestamp.

Hi guys I've been trying to clone this 1:1 and I've been analyzing this photo for awhile and I know the left-side is attached to a Magpul ASAP endplate but I still don't know where the right-side of his sling is attached to. It doesn't look to me like it's attached on the top rail where the NGAL and its pressure pad is. I think it's attached via Noveske 4-slot picatinny rail mount on the 9-o'clock position but I'm not 100% sure. what do you guys think 🤔

I personally am not convinced it has a Magpul ASAP endplate. I don't see the triangular shaped anti rotation/ reinforcements :  Though it is possible that it's just poor image quality, though you can clearly see it in the rifle to the left. There really is no way of knowing for certain how it's mounted. It could be direct thread, could be a u-loop, some sling mount like OfficerX pointed out, or even a make shift U loop out of dummy cord. It's hard to tell but it appears that the rear connection is some kind of dummy corded loop with a magpul Paraclip attached to it. (Directly below his cummerbund pouch) |

Upon closer examination, it definitely doesn't have the ASAP endplate attached. The wedge part that extends past the endplate isn't visible at all. If it was there it would be, it's too big to miss. It's probably a Noveske QD endplate. For the laser-engraved UID markings, does anybody happen to have them? https://imgur.com/a/MPiggja |

| I had a couple kids over the last 3 years so I haven’t kept up with the gun scene as much as I used to. Is dev still using or did they ever really use the sandman k with the 5.56 uppers? That’s what’s on mine, haven’t had any issues with about 2k rounds through it. I don’t plan on replacing it either way, I’m just genuinely curious. |

| So apparently the 300 uppers are using a Hux can but it's not clear which one or if it's even available to the public since they've shown a bunch of them on Instagram that have not been released yet. Also not clear what the status of 300 uppers are anyways with the switch to SOLGW. |

It is the DEV assaulters new carbine. The Noveske replaced the 416 and this is replacing the Noveske. You think they are only used for photo ops and training? lmao It isnt to the scale of the URGI program because the JSOC units are very small in comparison to all of SOCOM. With that being said, the testing and abuse that the JSOC units put their weapons through is much more stringent. |

I'm pretty interested in seeing how the ARMAD barrels in the MK1 rifle perform. Mike Mihalski mentioned that barrel life should exceed 70k rounds, but that sounds almost too good to be true. Someone I know asked SOLGW if they would sell the stripped ARMAD barrels and they said the barrels would only come in complete rifles and uppers. That's a bummer... |

| Dont know if ths has been discussed. Is there another hand guard that was put on the Noveske DEV guns that was anodized instead of cerakoted? Looks almost ike a noveske gen 4 but spacing is different |

 Above is my "contract" rail. Below is IG: jacksonclayton 's replication of said rail. He picked up a raw SMOS 9" octagonal rail and had it anodized by Hunts Anodizing in Orofina, Idaho. The only difference is that the "contract" rail mounts onto a Noveske Gen 3 Barrel nut (therefore easily swappable), and the regular SMOS rail on their site mounts to their barrel nut. The SMOS barrel nut is similar to the Noveske's Gen 3, however it simply isn't reversible like the Noveske barrel nut is, and is shorter. Therefore, the stops that are located on the inside of the rail wont allow it to fully seat onto a Noveske Gen 3 barrel nut.  |
