My first build is pretty much used parts. Things were done inexpensively and some parts might be less than par, but I have other expensive hobbies so this one will be done cheap.... How'd I do... Bushmaster makes a Dissipator upper that uses an M4 barrel, low gas block, and full length handguards and sight radius. It makes the barrel lighter. |
I didn't mind spending what was needed to get a NIB Bushmaster lower, or an upper that looks like it has 10 rounds through it. Could have bought a bargain box for 600, but then I would not have had the experience of doing it myself, which was what I wanted. I wanted to learn more. I have an Colt M4 full auto I carry every day, but its not mine... I wanted one that is mine, and I can do pretty much whatever I want to it.... The only thing I got to do with my Colt is put an ACOG on it.... Im happy with it. |
