Nice looking rifle. But I think your scope mount is backwards. i tried it the other way, but it didn't work for me.. so backwards it is... the other way is only when you want to shoot "small game" |

JTsnipe was referring to NTCH (nose to charging handle) marksmanship.
You might want to research NTCH, as well as SPR and DMR setups before cutting up your case foam. eta: Check the scoped/varmint AR and SPR picture threads - they might lead you to a method of installing a rear BUIS to match the front MBUS. |

What handguard is that? I ask because if it's a drop in your irons won't hold zero......although it wouldn't matter without a rear sight. Shoot the hell out it and enjoy it. it came with it.. its UTG, with magpul rail covers.. I do shoot it alot, i took down 2 hogs with it already.. well 1 hog and 1 baby hog |
| basically a typical scope setup would be mounted forward over the hand guard. and flush with the back of the receiver , this allows you to shoot with your nose as close to the charging handle as possible and get your needed eye relief on the scope. you can do whatever you want but you will be heckled for it. |

I c.. never thought about that.. might try it out, thanks! |

Turn that mount around, with your nose at the charging handle, and a consistent cheekweld, you'll notice your shots are more consistent as well. Your eyepiece should be right over the rear of your upper/ maybe just a hair forward of it. With the mount the way it is you probably look like the hunchback trying to get your cheek down to the stock and trying to keep your head far enough away from the optic to allow for proper eye relief and avoid getting punched in the face by your scope. |
