Can't find the original post, but I did save the pic. No idea if it was a 20" kit.
Don't know when they started doing it.

I have a few barrels from Model 1 and they're all stamped similarly.

That's a picture of my barrel.  


FYI, that was from a 16", 5.56 NATO, Chrome lined kit (the $450 one). Model 1 of course.


Don't know about their other kits / barrels. HC seems like it means "Hard Chromed"...

Guess mine is not crome lined since I do not have HC stamped on my barell. is mine chambered in 5.56? can i use 5.56 in a M1S ok??

My M1S 6.8 barrel is stamped lengthwise (inline w/bore) with M1S 6.8 REM SPC. No twist but they only offer it in a 1/9.5".

let me redo my last post LOL since the lowest  $$$$ you can go on a 20" kit from model one is a chrome molly kit in 5.56 I am guessing that is what i have!!
