how do i tell what is a real and what is a fake matech 600m BUIS? i am really wanting to get one, but there are so many on gunbroker, in a vast aray of prices and don't know if some are just trying to get rid of there stuff or if they are dupes.

Don't buy on gunbroker...buy on the EE from a seller with good feedback.

Most people are just trying to dump their sights in search of a different one.
Unfortunately the chicom copies are almost identical to the USGI ones.
And the ones still in the wrapper are probably stolen .gov property.

All real ones have the word MATECH underneath the sight, along with their cage code I believe. The real commercially sold ones have the Picatinny Arsenal "Cannon Gate" logo, with the word "Picatinny" below it, on the ejection port side of the sight. If there is no logo it is either fake, stolen .mil property, or by a slim chance "surplus".

thanks for all the info guys, i'll find someone on the EE to buy it from, hopefully in the next couple days ill actually buy one!

I didn't know they printed NSN's and CAGE codes on the civilian blue bags too.
Good to know there is not tons of stolen ones floating around, some might be legit.
