Went out to the range today with 2 out of the package 30rd Colt Mags and one beat up "no name ' 30 rounder.
Well out of the bag one of the Colt Mags kept backing out of "lock"   After every third or fifth round I had to smack it back up in the reciever..

The other Colt mag worked great  and the beat up loose no " Name" ate it all.
I'm guessing that was a defect in the one mag..any other suggestions or help?
Thanks

How does the hole look like where the mag catch goes in compared to the others?

Use a dry-erase marker on the magazine to see whether or not the hole is engaged positively by the magazine catch.

I wouldn't use that magazine if my life depended on it.
