[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mag Catch Button Issue

Started building a stripped Roggio receiver and Delton lower parts kit. The mag catch button will not fit the hole in the receiver. Is this a comon problem or is the stripped reciver out of spec? Thanks, SB

Do you have a set of calipers?

Measure the width of the mag release button, and the width of the area in the receiver and post the measurements here.

ETA: I measured two lowers, the holes are between 0.320" and 0.322". I also measured a couple of buttons, and they were both exactly 0.300"

hole: .319"

Seems to be the rounded edges that are catching...mostly.

I would get a new button and try it, for now you can always sand that one down until it fits.
