| any new specs other than the relocated battery?? Figures its out now, I just ordered an M4 from LaRue yesterday. If its only the battery, I could care less, as I'm a righty, and the upper position doesn't bother me, but I believe it was going to be some other changes as well though, but nobody could say what they were. |

Probably should amend the title to say "Will be available" which is good news indeed Not sure how much better it will be since peripheral vision is still similarly impeded, just in a different area. Definitely looks better. (Do the 'other M4' Aimpoints have shrouded adjustment caps?) smglee photo:

Actually Redfisher, i meant what i said- but thank you for telling me what you thought i meant... They are available now, through Aimpoint and have been since Friday. From Lightfighter, and posted by FJB- who has direct knowledge  CompM4S has just started shipping to dealers, as well as certain U.S. military units. SKU# is 12172. Limited numbers in stock order now. You can get them from any Aimpoint Dealer like ATS Tactical Gear or LaRue Tactical. re vision. The battery box was lowered as a req from mil for the M68 contract. I have been shooting optical sights- to include Aimpoints, eo's and others for a day or two now, and have never noticed any clutter- but then again, i was concentrating on hitting.. |
| Pat, have you had a chance to shoot with both? I can see advantages and disadvantages to both. Do you prefer either one? I have one M4 now and another on the way and I think I'll just keep them both. What I am really looking forward to getting is my T-1 from LaRue. I guess their behind on the T-1 mounts. |
