Ok, got the itch to build one now. When buying a lower, what should I look for when inspecting one? Aside from taking a set of calipers to it, are there any tell tale signs of manufacturing defects other than the finish? Something not noticeable unless you are looking for it. |

really the quality is all pretty much the same. i think youd really have to look pretty hard to find a bad lower now a days. basically there are only four companies that actually machine like 90% of all the lowers then other places just stamp therir names on them and anodize them. this thread may really help if you havent come across it already www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=12&t=318113 |
