I bought a complete DPMS lower last year. Its all I could find at the time and heard they were decent.
Just recently I bought an LMT 16" upper. They mesh toghether and match nicely.
Is there that  much of a difference in quality between the two?
Meaning, Do I eventually want to get a better named lower,
or am I buying into name game.  I posted pics and everything looks good to me.

Heading to the range today to shoot it for the first time.
I had a 16" Bushy upper I had a problem with and I returned it and got my money back.

That's like plugging a VCR into a 52" hi def flat screen TV....what are you doing?

It's a name game.  It'll shoot fine.  If it doesn't, chances are it's not the name on the lower.  It's more likely to be the name of the guy behind the trigger.

Have fun at the range!

This is what I figured.
If I see a inexpensive lower down the road that I like,
I can always grab it.
I have been seeing them pop up around town lately.

Like said, its a name game. If it works good, its a good receiver. Here is a link you may like for you to check out. Its an answer to a question like this with good information.
