| Ok this is my first build up and I am kinda confused. I got the trigger and disconnector in. The Hammer is there as well. In order to get the trigger to catch the hammer a small amout of pressure has to be appled to the back side of the trigger. Than I can almost just rest my finger on the trigger to release the hammer, barely any pressure. HELP... What did I do wrong? |

I'm a newbie builder too, but I figured since no one else has taken a swag at things, I'll do so: 1) stupid question - Are you testing your trigger before or after you installed the safety/detent +buttstock? 2) Check the orientation of your hammer spring. It should look like this: When you install it, bend the spring's 'legs' back, so that they rest on the trigger pin. If all that stuff was done correctly, then I'd have to defer to one of the many experts around here. |
| I do not have the detent, grip or buttstock installed. It's almost if the portion of the trigger that contacts hammer is to short.. Or the other way around. I have double checked the springs and everthing. I even used the lower assembley guide found on this site... |

I do not have the detent, grip or buttstock installed The first thing that comes to mind is that you need to finish the lower receiver before testing it. In all the assembly instructions that I have seen, the selector, detent pin, spring and hand grip are installed before testing.
