I just built my first AR. It is a great looking M4 from a Model-1 kit, built on an Eagle Arms Lower. I do have a slight problem though. I went out to a local pawn shop and rummaged through their big box o' mags and found two Orlite thirty round magazines that were in really great condition. Since I have heard so many great things about Orlite, I bought them. Anyways, I get home, shove one in my new build, and It wont stay. I was crushed. My mag catch just wont engage the indention on the mag. I have seen in the past Orlite mags having the indention cut out, should I try that or is something wrong with my build? Or should I try another manufacturer? Please help guys, she is crying to go to the range. Thanks

Wingman,
That article helped a lot. The Orlites that I have are earlier models so they have this over-insertion rib around them to keep them from being over inserted (hence the name) I just filed that down and it slid in perfectly. Thanks a lot. I appreciate the help.
