Hey everyone,

I'm currently in a bit of a predicament.  I bought a new TA31RCO-M4 a short while back, which is still NIB due to work and school constraints.  Hell, I haven't even mounted it yet .  How hard would it be to add a Dr. Opti?  Let's say I wanted to lose the least amount of money possible and was wondering what route you all would take to go from point A to point B?

Could you use one of the doc optic ACOG mounts on your RCO and avoid having to sell anything at all?

Hmm I suppose I could.  Who makes a mount compatible with the Docter Optic that will work on a TA31?  I'm having trouble locating one.

For the JPoint,
JP

For the Docter, Cal's  Good luck getting it from Cal's, them sumbitches are always out of stock on things they supposedly have in stock, which are few and far between on their site to begin with.

But then you won't get this nifty new reticle

Current setup:

I still got my TA31F, I ain't never selling it

Meat, that particular house was remodeled and really nice, middle eastern folks bought it and use it as a vacation home.  On the Labor Day weekend, they had a huge party, and I kept hearing this "lululululululu" crap they make with their tongue when they celebrate, it was rather annoying  Otherwise they're good neighbors on the ground that they're rarely there

Wow, with the price of a Docter Optic plus mount I'm almost certain that I would be better off just selling the RCO and going from there.  How much would a NIB RCOM4 fetch on these forums?

I dunno, $1000 or something like it?  How about keeping it for another rifle that you surely will get sooner or later?

Well, nothing is set in stone.  I'm just pondering my options.

Nice piece of glass and metal Duffy. good weather out there too.

Any chance they'll sell an ACOG with the new reticle but without the Doc dot?

It looks like a good compromise between the TA01 reticle and the TA31F

Thanks
I wasn't sure if I'd like the TA31DOC's reticle, since it does resemble that of the TA01, which without BAC, is not very good for close range.  The BAC lit reticle makes a world of difference
