Doing a Spike's build. Installed the trigger and hammer from Spikes LPK. Checking for function the trigger doesn't seem right...It has a very light pull. My guess would be 2.5lbs. Is this normal? This is my first scratch build.  Thanks.

It's probably a spring issue. Look at a tutorial on properly installing the hammer and trigger springs.

*Edit*
Here's a good one:

Thats the guide that i used. Spring issue? The flared side of the spring goes into the trigger first. Is that correct?

If your talking about the Disconnector Spring then yes the wider end goes in first

2.5lbs is a problem... that's a gift  (assuming you're not having light primer strikes and your safety works)

Most often this is caused by installing the hammer spring upside down, so that it is unwinding when the hammer is cocked, instead of winding up tighter.

Double check.
