[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help with scope mount

I am looking for a scope mount to put on a flattop upper. It is to get the scope over the front sight, my question is this. I am seeing one that fits weaver 7/8" rail. Is this what I am wanting to put on my upper or is there another size?
