[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help with flash hider

I recently put a Bushmaster 97S pistol upper on a registered SBR Carbon 15 lower. As you can imagine the muzzle blast is freakin huge. I'm trying to figure out the best hider to put on this little guy but I really have no idea which one would work the best on a 7.5 inch barrel. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

someone here has tested several flash hiders....the vortex should work very well

Thanks! It was really down to the Vortex and the Phantom but I figured there was always a chance someone out there had used a different one that worked even better.

btw,Olympic arms use the vortex on their pistol

vortex or phantom would be your best option, but its a pistol and what fun is it if it didnt throw fireballs?

And yeah the fireball is cool, but pull off a couple of quick shots and your target becomes invisible.
