| I'm trying to get a zero established for my new AR-15. Most of the procedures say use the 8/3 setting. My rifle is an M&A kit with stainless 16" barrel and UTG detachable rear site. This site has a 6/3 setting when bottomed out. Is the procedure/distance setting the same? Also do you use the 0-2 (large hole) or the unmarked small hole? I was shooting at 25 yards using the 0-2 the other day and my shots were about 6-8 inches low and 4-5 to the left. I adjusted the front sight post up(actually down) 6 clicks to bring it up a little. How much should it bring it up or down on the target per click? One of the guys at work (prior Marine) said use the small hole. I have trouble getting a good sight picture more so with the small hole so any tipe/advice there would also be appreciated. Thanks |
