I was installing a troy low profile gas block and couldnt seem to get the roll pin all the way in... it would go in about 85% and then just STOP. It looked like the gas tube was perfectly lined up and everything. I bought a new roll pin and was going to re-install the tube using my new roll pin...... the old one will NOT come out at all. It will not budge. Do you have any suggestions on how to get that dang thing out??

I am scared that if I attempt to drill it out with a 1/16" drill bit that I will mess  up the gas block

Do not attempt to drill it out, it will only make the problem worse and possibly ruin your FSB.  Can you get a small pair of vise grips on the protruding part and twist and pull?  It should come free.  If not, a very small punch from the opposite side should push it back the way it went in.  I believe that its possible the problem was caused by not having the barrel nut and gas tube lined up PERFECTLY.  If the alignment is perfect, the pin will go in without any effort.  I have been there done that a couple of times so you arent alone.

I had one that would not come out, till i gave it that one extra wack, problem solved.
If it is lined up it should work fine, maby you had a sharp edge on the roll pin or sum thing.

What kind of punch are you using?  Are you using a proper roll pin punch or a drift punch?  A roll pin punch will keep the pin from expanding and will drive it in properly.  If you used a drift punch, the pin could have expanded.  Try using the right sized roll pin punch to push it back out.  The right tool for the job...

I had a Daniel Defense one do the same thing to me the other day.  I just put the gas block in a large vice so it would not move the gas block on the barrel at all and gave it a couple real hard hits with the hammer and it went through and the rifle operated just fine..
