Hello folks. This is my first post. I have been lurking around this forum for info on my M4-A3 carbine. I have found all or most of the info I needed for all my mods. What a great forum!! Im having trouble finding some info as far as pricing for a Colt SP1 I was looking to buy. I think it is a 1976 year model, these are the numbers - SP62891. Could I get some help with information as far as the going price, quality and collectors value. I tried the search feature (SP1 or AR-15 SP1) and didn't come up with much. The rifle I would say is in very good condition, not excellent. No rust or pitting and no fading. It looks lightly used. Thanks for any help.
Just read the rules and Im not suppose to ask this question in this forum. Please delete this thread. |

OK, 1:12. Thanks for the help. I just picked up the rifle yesterday evening. Ended up paying $600 for it. The old guy I bought it from said he never fired it. He said make me an offer, I said $600, he said it was a deal. When I got it home I really looked it all over. It has no wear marks and no residue in chamber area. It came with just one small original clip, no box, no manual and no cleaning kit in butt stock. Im thinking this was a good buy. The old guy said he has two more he wants to sell. I also bought some other guns at the same time from him, Sako 300 mag H&H, 2- 22 cal. Colt semi auto pistols Huntsman and Challenger models and a Winchester 74 22 rifle. All are over 30+ years old. He wants to sell his whole collection of 100+ firearms and all of those are 30+ years old. What a once in a life time find for an average Joe!!!!
