| I just purchased a Stag AR-15 and took it to the range today. The trigger won't fire unless you continue to move the selector switch from safe to fire after every round. Has anyone had this issue? Any suggestions? |

Confirm that the hammer spring is installed correctly.
While you have the parts out, free fit the trigger pin into the trigger with disco. If the pin does not spin freely, then check the sides of the trigger at the U slots for burs that may be binding up the trigger to the pin. Also, run your fingernail down the both the back of hammer sear and disco sear to check for ends of sears production burs. If found, use a stone and remove such burs as well. When it's all said and done, remember to CLP lube the FCG before putting them back in the receiver. |
