Hello there everybody. I am new to this formum. Therefore I am going to introduce myself to you. I am male and am 46 years old. I have been around firearms all my life ever since my dad taught me to field strip, clean and reassemble Govt. 45 and a M14 selective fire rifle. I currently own three ARs, one in .223, .308. and 30.06. I also own 8 eight handguns in Glocks and Springfield XDs in .45 and .40. I hope that gives you all a brief overview of myself. I hope to hear from you all. kingwolf |

Welcome. However, you might get a lot more replies if you introduced yourself in one of the more common forum topic sections. General Discussion might be one, or at least one of the regular AR forums. This one does not get a lot of traffic. I found it because I use Active Topics most of the time. Dave. |
Cobb rifles are certainly not very common, but 30-06's are... My only 30-06 is a Garand. I figure if I am going to own a 30-06 that I might as well own one of the best. Still need a BAR and a pre-64 Model 70 though to complete my 30-06 collection. Took the Garand out today. Everybody that tried it loved it. I think the CMP will be getting a few more orders from the folks that tried mine. |

Dunno I am having too much fun with my 30.06 right now. By the way, isn't 6.8 a 30.06 wanna be but isn't gonna be? Something like that but it's fun to shoot and doesn't take much to convert from 223 to 6.8spc. Aberdeen shut 6.8spc down but the cartridge is still gaining popularity. I shoot my M1A SOCOM for 308 enjoyment. |
