Lol hold your boner there, that'd be a ways down the road here. I've been struggling on a clone config for it, plus having issues installing mine without the FSB being canted. If I did an MRE recce I could use a Criterion from Fulton, then have D.Wilson do the AEM profiling and thread it, add FSB flats. Plus I'd need to buy one of those FSBs and money isn't growing on trees right now.

The other issue is glass, trying to find something period like a Leupold might be more costly than I want right now. Bit it's an idea I've had rattling around for a while. It would be even cooler with an original KAC FSGB, like the originals the SAM-R used.

This is exactly why I was thinking a Criterion from Fulton with a set-screw. Only problem is they don't have any threaded ones in stock, so I'll have to cough up to have a ban style threaded, profiled, and have the flats added. But it's a perfect excuse to use the A2 AE flash hider Ron made recently. But if I got that way then I can have another Recce type gun so I can keep the round count on my Holland down.

Maybe I should find a beat up Leupold CQ/T to put on there for max GWOT weirdness...

MRE got new paint. Fucking sucks painting in sub freezing temps. I usually put down a base layer. Put a bunch of different splotches of color all over. Then mist a fine overspray over everything, usually green, then tan. To bring out all the colors, I rub the entire thing with oil. The oil usually breaks through the overspray layers to bring out all the shades underneath. Also gets rid of the fucking chalky feeling. In the cold, the overspray doesn't work so well because it doesn't want to dry and just makes a fucking mess.

Eye box is not as forgiving as the razor, but the glass is supreme. I really like the reticle.

Where are they from?

Simple markings or crazy logos on the lower?

Safe/Fire selector markings or stupid pictograms?

Sorry for all the Q's, I have been looking for a receiver set like that with simple receiver markings. The only thing I am finding are the ones with billboard logos ETC.

These are FN anodized receivers. Got them from the FN Pro Shop as a blem set. Safe/Fire markings, and just the FN logo on the left side with S/N, and a FN logo on top of the receiver in front of the charging handle.

Been reworking my 20" .22lr build for a minute. Going after the S-DMR look, although pretty clone incorrect, I'm settling for close enough for a .22. I might pick up a used ACOG if I can find a good deal on one. NT4 was only put on for pictures as well as the scope.

After cloning Block II, MK18, and KAC rifles I have a couple clone parts left over....
