I know this may be a dumb question, but Im kinda a dumb guy when it comes to changing gun parts.  I just purchased a YH free float rail.  I want t get a low profile gas block.  But I dont know which one or size I will need.  Also will replace gas tubes.  I have an eotech and flip sights in my shopping cart aswell.  Any other parts I need?

My AR - DPMS AP4 with a 16" barrel.

If you have a thin/pencil profile you will need the .625 gas block.  Medium/M4 profile .750.  It looks like you'll use the .750

No need to replace the gas tube, just remove the roll pin from the Front sight base with a punch.  Save the gas tube, and reinstall the gas tube and roll pin.

If you really want to spend the $$$ to replace to gas tube it looks like you'll need a carbine length tube, but like i said that's not necessary.

.750 low profile gas block.  If it were me, I would just cut that FSB to make the lo pro gas block.  It will be a much more solid gas block.

What FF rail are you looking at?  There are better, lighter rails available.

I agree with this.  Set screws won't ever be as rock solid as a factory pinned gas block.

I was looking at the YH Todd Jarrett tube in extended carbine.  Great looking tube and I like the mostly smooth aspect with quad rail up front.  Any better rails that are similar in design that would be better?

Many.  YH is okay stuff, I guess.  Just my opinion of the products I have seen from them:

Here is the spec on the YH:
Extended Carbine Handguard
Length: 9.29”
Weight: 12.64 oz
Inner Diameter: 1.75”
Width/Height: 2.43”
Designed to allow use of a fixed A2 front sight

I have that model/design in an APEX.  It is a quality piece, and lighter,  Here is the specs from their site, and a pic:

The Apex Extended Carbine Length handguard has a cutout portion for clearance around the front sight. This extends the useful gripping and accessory mounting area of the handguard.

Over-all length: 8.5"

Weight with hardware: 8.1 oz.

Includes handguard, clamp, and hardware

Inside diameter: 1.75" INSIDE CLEARANCE DIMENSIONS: .925'' ABOVE, .825'' BELOW CENTER OF BORE

Outside diameter: 1.970"
