As I'm putting my carbine back together earlier, I'm about to put the bolt back into the carrier...  I see only two gas rings on the bolt  One of them is GOA

Dammit

I had a buddy have a consistent failure to eject after failure to eject.  Start looking at things, he couldn't figure it out.  I take a look and find...that he put his bolt on backwards after cleaning it last.

I swear to newborn baby jesus, his extractor was facing the wrong direction.

ETA:  Alright, I just pulled out my Bushy and it wouldn't work.  All I can say is that his was a DPMS and as such might not have been 100% in spec.  Next time I'm over there I'll check it again and post pics.  Maybe he did take a GD hammer to the thing...knowing him, who knows.
