Greetings all. First post, and just finished up my first build. Been wanting to for a while. I picked up a forged stripped 5.56 lower at a local show, from Shadow Ops weaponry. It looks they may get those from somewhere else, it has the keyhole forging mark that I've seen mentioned around the boards. They gave me a 30rd M2 Magpul with it. Pretty basic, no real special parts yet. Pretty clean in appearance, never was one for having too much crap hanging off my weapons. The basic ATI parts kit, Strike Industries Cobra trigger guard, rightie version. A 16" Core15 MOE complete upper. I put on a milspec tube with a Magpul CTR stock. I have a friend making me a paracord sling for looks. Contemplating ordering a normal sling for it as well. I also grabbed an inexpensive dual color lit reticle 4x32 QD scope that got good reviews. I'm taking it to the range this weekend to finish sighting it in, both iron and scope I used a boresighter at the hose to get it close so it shouldn't be too bad. I also ordered an enhanced butt pad but its not in yet. That about sums it up, here are a few pics.

| A little late getting back, but she shoots nice and straight once I got the iron sights dialed in. The scope didn't even go on as my boresighter was at home... I guess I'll have to force myself to go back to the range soon. Thanks for checking it out. And yes, it's just like me building cars, it's a different level of enjoyment out of the final product. |
