Finally got all my parts for my first build barrel came in today, other parts will be back from Cerakote tomorrow then I'll put it all together Saturday morning and shoot it that afternoon.
Tell me what you guys think. Seekins SP223 lower in Burnt Bronze. Nice setup. Shoot the hell out of it and enjoy. Seekins makes some nice stuff. It is what I used on my Grendel.
I was not too sure when I first thought of buying the lower, but once it was in my hands any doubts diminished quickly. I have the IRMT-3 V3 upper with the SP3R V3 15" handguard. It is awesome. You will probably really enjoy yours. The AR Gold trigger is nice, I currently have one running in this rig. It was put in after I had a Geissele SSA-E and an SD-C. Still on the fence about the trigger though. I like it, but the bow is really thin compared to the others. I liked them all, so that makes the decision tough. Once again, nice rig. |

Thanks everyone I bought all the parts little by little over the last year or so, and waited for months for the tax stamp.
I couldn't find my camera today as soon as I do I'll get better pics. I literally researched every single part to death before I bought them going back and forth on just about everything. The lower was a no logo and I engraved the skull on the left side by hand (Star Wars geek so it is the Mandolorian emblem, tried an Emperial emblem on the right and Couldn't get it right and had to grind it down and you can barely see where it was). Before this one all I had was a S&W M&P 15T and a M&P-22. This will be the year of the suppressor and optics for it. ?? |
