Hey everyone, first post, been reading the forums quite a while though. Anyhow, I'm starting my first build, and assuming it turns out to be what I want it to be, it'll be the only one for a while, I've got too many other handgun builds I want to complete. I've decided to go with a Competition Shooter. I can't determine what the best combinations of manufacturers would be. DPMS seems to have many of the features I like, but nothing all inclusive. I like the LMT upper with numbers, but with M4 ramps, I'm not sure it'll meet the rest of the requirements.
Here's a few details of what I'm dealing with as well as what I want:
1-I live in the People's Republic of Kommifornia, so I'll be building on a FAB10 for now. I'm in the military, so a transfer will allow me to just sell the lower and build a new one in my new state in 3 to 5 years from now. 2-I want free floated, flat top with BUIS (flip-down would be nice), 16" bbl or 20" (undecided for accuracy at 200yds), no flash hider or MC. 3-I'm into the M4 style clones, so a pinned stock is in order I would think. A rail system on the forend isn't totally necesary for now, but I like Daniel Defense equipment, any thoughts there? 4-Barrel and Bolt MUST be chrome from what I can tell. No Chro-Moly stuff if I've been reading correctly. 5-I want to shoot sub-MOA at 200yds, so I'll need glass. Not looking for more than 200yds, as I don't plan to shoot anywhere regularly that has that kind of room. What's more, I'm lazy and wouldn't want to walk farther than that to swap out the targets! What I'm asking is what would you build if you had pretty much unlimited money? I've been saving for this rifle for a very very long time and the money isn't burning a hole in my pocket yet, but it will soon, and I don't wanna have issues after I build it. The only caveat to that is that if I can save a buck or two in the build, I can afford to get more ammo for trips to the range over the next two months while I save money for my 1911 build.

me, I'd go with a 20" target bbl, free floated, flat top, A2 stock and optiks of your choosing.
