My component list ...please I am asking for advice ––
Purchased an AR over a year ago so I could get familiar with the weapon system . I read this forum when time permits to learn

My mission statement for this build - " build a general purpose SHTF battle rifle that will that is reliable , accurate , and fun to practice with ( local shooting events )"
want this to cycle  smoothly like its got ball bearings in it

my parts list so far

1.  The core  of my build ––spikes tactical Elite Mid-Length upper is the 14.5" FN Cold Hammer Forged barrel with permanently attached Dynacomp Extreme. FN CHF 1:7" twist barrels are supposed to be extremely durable with a 20,000+ round service life. These CHF barrels are turned to Spike's New optimum profile –– not a heavy profile but beefier than a lightweight –– I wanted something easy to carry with good accuracy . This is a flattop upper with A2 sight and magpul handguard black and mid length and a spikes charging handle - no BCG yet
This came with a buffer marked ST-T2
2. DPMS stripped lower.
3. Daniel defense LPK
3. I scrounged a M4 mil spec buttstock
4. Today I picked up a couple of aluminum 30rd mags with green followers ( surplus ) and a brownells carbine buffer spring for $20

I need a buffer tube - is there different ranges of quality ? I kinda wanted to avoid UTG Any suggestions PWS , I am assuming I have the right buffer
Is the buffer spring I got ok
I need a BCG - really want a spikes nickel boron coated are they worth the money ? Or is there a better option in the 250 or less price range

Anybody have experience with this upper and barrel what kind of accuracy ?

Next I want a flip up rear sight that will line up with a2- optic down the road but this will have to suffice for awhile

Ok I really am getting close now...have a questions
The upper barrel assy I purchased was a Pre- owned ( guy said he fired less than 200 rounds , but I have no real way of knowing ??)
I'm about to buy a BCG - thinking of springing for a spikes NiB BCG

Is there any issues I should be aware of , how do I make sure everything is GTG?

I purchased this used , by doing so I got a sweet deal on an ELITE spikes 14.5 FN upper for the same money I was about to spend for a del-ton 14.5 upper ..
