Just want to say thanks to all you guys.
The information on this site has been invaluable.
Last part arrived yesterday (NoDak lower).

On to my next build, because there is no cure for BRD http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/3476/retro1smxs8.jpg

What kind of helmet cover is that? It doesn't look like the 'Nam-era "Mitchell" pattern.

Nice rifle, too.

Don't have a clue as to the helmet cover.
Found the steel pot helmet, cover and liner at Army surplus store for 20 bucks
and picked it up as an impulse buy.

Nice looking rifle. Man, I've got to find one of those black "US" marked holsters for my Colt 45.

Found quite a few black .45 holsters at the last gun show I attended.
But watch out, the prices were all over the map, between 20 and 110 bucks.
Paid around 30 for mine.

This is his rifle... And this one... and this one...  And them over there, too. There are many like it, and I wish they were mine.

Nice job on the build and the display, too.

That's either a very short room, or some very long rifles.?

I got a crick in my neck from staring at them.

Looks great! My only suggestion is to get some surplus checkered plastic grips for the 1911. They're out there for about $12.

I see it now...If that was my house, there'd be dogs walking around carrying AR-15's...

(Whenever I leave the cellar door open, they go exploring..."Honeybunch, why is there a 2x4 in the living room???"...)
