Here is my first attempt at a Dissy build
PSA Lower RRA LPk Bunch of Magpul stuff Mil-spec MOE stock (1st regret) Rifle Length MOE Handguard (2nd regret) DD Mil-spec Tube Spikes ST-T2 Buffer Spikes Upper & BCG CMMG 1:7 CHF 16'' Barrel Hogue Grip - Really want to replace the MOE stock, I dont like the play in it. Just makes the gun not feel as "solid" as I would like. Same issue w/ MOE handguard (or HG cap) It has too much play for my liking. Future: -Looking to upgrade to an DD Omega 12.0 and a CTR stock -EOTech 512 Put mostly everything together myself. This is my first AR15 as well as being my first gun in general. And yes, im already completely strung out on my new hobby! I'm right there with you on the Moe furniture. Love the Moe + grips, but I'm definitely not a big fan of the handguards or stocks. You might want to look into an ACS or ASC-L. Either is much more sturdy/solid and you could probably upgrade for $50 if you sell the Moe on the EE. Vltor stocks are solid too but will be just a tad more pricey. You can't go wrong with any DD rails, so you're definitely GTG there. |
