I'd say you put together a 1st class quality build! How do you like that BCM stainless barrel? Been looking at one of their uppers myself. Did you have it ion bond or KG coated?

Nice build.  The ONLY thing I would have done differently would have been an RRA LPK instead of the DPMS.  Have you put any rounds through it yet?

I only have 100 rounds through it. First time I pulled the trigger I was nervous but it went bang. It cycled great no problems. The lpk was ok it went in no problems. I may rebuild the lower if I get bored I had the barrel gun koted. I found a guy on the net that does firearme refinishing and he happens to live 5 minutes from me. I don't have a lot of experience with the AR but it seem to be very accurate. The barrel seems to be kick ass.

Personally, I'd ditch the CAA light mount. Aside from that, looks good!

Awesome, but why not stake the castle nut?
Also, have you considered one of these?

Whacking my gun with a punch and hammer just didn't seem right. but I may add a QD end plate so I will wait on that.

Very nice build, congrats.

Don't sweat the castle nut staking. It's super easy and it doesn't require much force (I used a Noveske QD end plate). I found on my build it took more force to whack the rear trigger guard pin than the castle nut end plate.
