First off a big Thank You  to everyone that shares their knowledge with us noobs. I would never have even thought to try building my first rifle if it hadn't been for the amazing amount of info in this forum.

This rifle was meant to be a sort of "jack of all trades" build, until I can save up and build a 20" rifle..leaning towards an AR-10 at the moment.

Ok, on to the particulars:

Armalite Flattop Upper (minus the barrel)
Armalite Stripped Lower
Armalite LPK + Accuracy Speaks Single Stage Trigger System + Ergo Grip
BCM 16" Midlength Barrel + PWS CQB Compensator
BCM BCG
RRA Low Profile Gas Block
Wilson Combat Oversized Bolt Release
DD 9.0 Lite Rail
DD QD Sling Mounts
Magpul ACS
Magpul MBUS Front & Rear
Magpul PMAGs
USGI 2-Pt Sling (might change it after the upcoming Appleseed event)
Trijicon TA31RCO-M4CP on a Larue QD LT-100 mount

And the requisite pics (minus the toes)

I'd be interested to know how the PWS CQB comp works out on your rifle.  I was really looking at using one on my 14.5 barrel, but I read several different places that it was meant for use on >14.5" barrels.  I still love the look of it though...

Nice rifle too.

You'd probably be fine using it on the 14.5" barrel. It's the compensator that PWS uses on their Diablo uppers which have 7" barrels.

This is from their site:
"The system is rounded out with the new CQB comp from PWS - a comp designed for short barrels that compensates, suppresses flash and directs all the blast forward."

I'm waiting on a shipment of PRVI 62gr FMJBT from Wideners at the moment, but I'll be sure to update with a range report once it gets here.

Yea I've been on the PWS site looking at the diablo uppers (and that comp ).  The only reason I mentioned the barrel length is that the CQB comp is considered to be part of the overall piston system on the 7" diablo upper (addaxtactical.com's words) and that upper doesn't like to cycle if it's removed/changed (several customer's observations).  Something with the cqb's design helping to build pressure for SBR's to cycle properly/better.  So I'm more curious if with longer barrels it still works to build some pressure and any possible effects this has.

Let me know how it performs for you, as I'll definately be interested for when I make my final muzzle piece choice.

Other than the muzzle device, it looks good!
