After spending a couple months looking around at ARs and trying to digest all the info available on this site i went to the local shop with full intentions of staying cheap and keeping my wife happy by buying a S&W MP 15 or sport and came home with a pony instead! I was torn after reading so many posts here looking for advice and im not much of a buy it cheap type of guy sooo.,

i was looking at the S&W MP 15 and with cheap optics it was almost 800.00 just couldn’t justify it when right next to it was a 6920 MoE for not much more..

the MOE furniture fits my hand perfectly. Took her out yesterday for a light feeding session (100rds) and after a few clicks i was doing 3-4 round shot groups within 2-3 inches at 50 yards all on the Iron sights. not bad. reminds me of my old Army days at the range. what a great feeling that was!

I got started a while back on a M&P 15 -22 and loving that for doing 1-2K round dumps but the obsession got worse.

So now i need to figure out optics and a flashlight mount setup. im thinking the Burris AR 332.

Pictures, hope they come out!

every time a FNG buys a Colt for his first AR, God kills a terrorist...

now you can spend all your time in GD and not worry about cluttering up the tech forums with troubleshooting questions...

I have two of these LE's, the other has an Eotech,  the Nikon is a killer for Prairie Dogs,....the other for 3-gun and competition,.., I love these two, for me these two platforms or optic systems are all I will ever need,....however, maybe a new M4 "marked" 6920 with just iron sights for CQB would round it out...
COLT all the way...
